Jaguars at Gaydon

Due to the loss of the ‘Jaguars at the Castle’ event in September, the Jaguar Daimler Heritage Trust are joining forces with the Jaguar Breakfast Club and the XJS Club to put on a very special event at the British Motor Museum at Gaydon on Saturday 5th September.

The XJS Club will be using the event for their own National Day and the JDHT will be bringing a couple of our rarely seen variants of the XJS out of storage for the show.

We are planning to include a ‘closed arena’ so that special cars can be driven in for display and we have already booked that well-known walking Jaguar encyclopaedia, Bob Beecham as commentator for the day.

This is a, friendly and informal gathering, and not restricted to members of any specific Jaguar club, so anyone can just turn up for a great day out.

Anyone wishing to display their cars should arrive between 09:30 and 10:30 to ensure we can park them up in prime positions around the museum and our display area.

The Museum is open from 10 am to 5 pm and the Collections Centre is open from 10 am to 4 pm.
• For any regular Jaguar Breakfast Club attendees who have already paid and gift-aided, entry will be free.
• ‘Single day entry’ tickets can be purchased in advance at a discounted rate of £10.
• Normal museum entry tickets will be available on the day at £14.50 adult (£12.50 for over 60s, £9 for children) which if Gift Aided (at no extra cost) allow 12 months unlimited entry. Non-taxpayers may make a voluntary donation of the gift-aid amount to obtain an annual admission ticket.
• Standard Gift-Aid annual tickets can be purchased in advance if desired from the British Motor Museum website.

More details of the schedule for the day’s events will be published over the next few months.
