What is SNG Barratt?
SNG Barratt is the world's leading supplier of spare parts for Jaguar and Daimler Cars. Around 101,500 parts lines are available, with over 9,300 in stock.
We can supply Daimler V8 parts; Daimler Dart spares; Jaguar MK II parts; E-type spares; Jaguar XK120, 140 and 150 parts; XJ6, XJ12, XJS, XJ40 and X300 parts; S-type and X-Type spares; XK8 and XJ8 parts.
After over 30 years supplying classic Jaguar spares, SNG Barratt have risen to become the largest independent specialists in the World with overseas branches in the USA, France and Holland in addition to the UK head office in Bridgnorth.
Almost from the start SNG Barratt has re-manufactured and resourced many items using a complex supplier network that spans the globe making full use of the company’s international heritage. Parts that the group produce are extensive and wide ranging and include switch gear, electrical motors, chromium plated bumper parts, body rubbers, petrol tanks etc, etc. This continued re-investment in the Jaguar marque allows long obsolete parts to once again grace the shelves guaranteeing the future of many historically important vehicles.
In 1997 SNG Barratt gained ISO9002 accreditation for its UK operation following a full examination of the entire sales, purchasing, warehousing and despatch systems to ensure compliance to British Standards Institute guidelines. Since then a twice yearly inspection by an independent assessor ensures that these levels of quality and service continue to be faithfully maintained.
However, ultimate recognition of the evolution of SNG Barratt has come from Jaguar Cars itself who have awarded the company Authorised Parts Distributor status in the UK. This affirmation enables the company to order stock directly from the factory on a daily basis and gain access to parts and information for both current and classic models.
The past success of the SNG Barratt Group has always been based on attention to quality, service and value. With further investment in technology, manufacturing and people this will guarantee success for the long term future.

SNG Barratt 2010 Photography Competition: Winners Revealed
SNG Barratt is pleased to announce the winners of their 2010 Photography Competition. After a fantastic response from Jaguar owners and enthusiasts, they were inundated with wonderful images spanning a wide range of models and ages of cars, from all over the globe!
FIRST PRIZE
| The prestigious first prize was awarded to Mr Marko Airismeri of Finland, for a breathtaking image of his X-Type. The photograph was captured on a journey from the Alps to Finland, in the scenic mountains outside Munich. The judges commented on how consideration was given to excellent composition, and the car is placed well on a vista, showing attention to detail. |  |
SECOND PRIZE

Mr Martyn Manning of Jersey. His sepia entry of his 1965 FHC E-Type in a busy garage, provided a contrast to the many outdoor entries, and captured the essence of a workshop scene from times gone by. |
THIRD PRIZE
| Presented to an entry from another continent – Mr Ben Feng from Massachusetts, USA, for this photograph of his 1954 XK120. The car was owned for 35 years by one of Iowa's most prominent architects, and the images were captured outside buildings he designed. The judges liked the urban angular setting of this image, with juxtaposition between the coloured pavement squares and smooth curves of the car. |  |
COMMENDED ENTRIES
There were such a high number of photographs it was difficult to whittle it down to just three winners, and the judges were eager to commend some other high quality entries...

The Mark 2 340 in beautiful sunset captured by Brian Lees of Cambridgeshire, England, was worthy of merit. The judges praised the tranquil setting and the high quality of the image, which fitted the criteria of the competition well with a good composition and lots of space around the car. |
| Likewise, Erik Fuelsen of Gioke, Norway, captured his XK140 against the interesting backdrop of a cliff top lighthouse. |  |
HISTORY
As well as image quality, judges were fascinated by some of the stories that were behind the photographs.

Trevor Sutcliffe of City Beach, Western Australia, entered a photograph of his 1967 Mark 2 at The Royal Aero Club of Western Australia on the 70th Anniversary of the Battle of Britain. Interestingly the car was originally shipped to one of the East African colonies for display, however the midnight blue colour was deemed unsuitable for the African climate and it was purchased by a retiring colonial servant who brought it back to the UK. He migrated to Perth, Australia and the car was later sold to Mr Sutcliffe's father. |
| On a similar theme this image of an XK140 alongside a B47 jet was taken from an original slide by Paolo Francini of Firenze, Italy. The photograph was taken of Paolo and colleagues whilst working in the sunshine of Florida in 1958. Both Mr Francini and the XK140 are still fit and well! |  |

Carbon Fibre Trim Kit

Now available from SNG Barratt; replacement veneer kits for all first generation XK8 models up to 2006. These are available in three different finishes – burr walnut (as fitted to the majority of UK cars), piano black or carbon fibre (pictured, left), and are available for cars with or without SATNAV. They are also offered in LHD or RHD versions. The kits are very competitively priced at £475 each + VAT on an exchange basis (or outright at £625 + VAT), and give the XK8 owner the chance to either refresh tired looking veneer OR dramatically change the appearance of the car with a carbon fibre or piano black dash-board. The kits are straight-forward to fit, and most variants are kept in stock for immediate despatch. Part numbers: DASH/31 to DASH/42. |
