XJS-C = Convertible
The XJ-S Cabriolet is a rare, distinctive and desirable model, which can be easily distinguished by reference to the following facts and features.
First
Only 5013 Cabriolets were built;
between 28th June 1982 VIN: 108026 and 26th January 1988 VIN: 148594.
Second
The boot Badge is a giveaway

Third
Two targa panels that lift out at the front, and the half hood that manually folds down
OR (before you jump on me) you may have the factory hard top fitted, which covers the rear half and leaves you with just the targa panels.
