To celebrate Jaguars success at the 1990 24hr Le Mans race a limited edition ‘Le Mans’ model was introduced, all cars were individually numbered, just 280 were built worldwide and this car is number 16.
The Le Mans Edition models featured extra leather trim, Le Mans motifs to headrests and footplates, ‘Gold Growler’ bonnet badge, diamond cut 16″ Lattice alloy wheels, quad headlights, colour coded front spoiler, de-chromed front grille, Le Mans badging on the rear and bespoke coach lines.
This particular car, registered on 31st December 1991 is finished in Brooklands Green with Cream hide trim, set off with Brooklands Green piping.
In my ownership since 2013, it is in outstanding condition throughout, drives well and has wanted for nothing.
As a member of the Jaguar Enthusiast Club, Edinburgh & S.E. Scotland Region I enter this car in many car shows throughout the country. It was “Car of the Show” at Scottish Jaguar Day 2017, judged by David Marks.
Interior trim is in generally excellent condition, with some wear to the driver’s seat bolster.
Regularly driven during summer. Fully serviced, thoroughly cleaned, covered and garaged every winter.
